6 Essential Oil Combinations For Lotions And Their Recipes

Believe it or not, I’ve been using Nivea moisturizing lotion for almost two decades now.

In comparison it blows my mind on number of lotions/oils my girl friend owns, don’t get me wrong they smell great and her skin is flawless.

But recently I’ve been looking into options of  DIY lotions with essential oils.

I wanted to share some of my discoveries with essential oil combinations for lotions.

When it comes to making lotions at home, the main ingredient is natural essential oil, without it the lotion isn’t quite as effective or potent.

With essential oils, there are 7-8 most vital ones, which when added to a home-made lotion recipe, produces stunning results.

Major essential oil includes lavender, peppermint, sandalwood, bergamot, rosemary, tea tree, chamomile, ylang-ylang etc.

Each oil has its own benefit and comes with unique healing and stress-relieving properties.

They are all known for relaxation that they provide to both mind and body and how they help in reducing stress and inflammation.
